If this not is enough with a brandnew cd Richard and I are already planing for next cd with more songs composed by Richard, it will be a touch of nice Bach with heavy rock.
To be honest we have so many songs already that we can release 3 or 4 cd .

If you miss some vintage and well-played stuff from the 70s or early 80s, but you’re already bored of the same all-time classic songs from DEEP PURPLE and RAINBOW golden era, a brand new band called MANSTRAND (name taken from bandleader’s last name) is the answer to your problem. Hailing from the glorious Stockholm of Sweden (again!), MANSTRAND seem to have discovered the music time machine, in a way. The only thing you have to do is visit band’s MySpace page or get the debut “Hell (With) The King” and you’ll immediately find out what I’m talking about. Carl Manstrand and his mates recorded 12 songs breathing a retro breeze, full of pure Rock and Metal attitude, risking the fact of the common over-played sound from many bands in the past; but, they seem to be in the right direction.
When I first placed the album on my cd player, I felt like I was listening to PURPLE’s “Space Truckin” instead of the starting “Come On”; the catchy refrain has many similarities with the all time classic masterpiece but with a remarkable freshness that makes it so tempting for the listener’s ears. Then, the pompous “Classica” comes in and Dio’s magic figure pops up suddenly through the magnificent guitar solos and Carl’s successful reading. The following “Death Incarnate” is another one ‘made-of-classics’ song, unpacking somehow a glow from SABBATH’s “Heaven And Hell” epoch, while “Passing The Stars” carries some UFO melodic tunes that stick in your mind, unable to find the exit from there.
And the party goes on; during the one hour of the album, you can find some classic easy-listening stuff to keep you wonderful company during a long road trip. So, take a ride with this solid rock album that will blast out your speakers till MANSTRAND’s next one (I hope to happen soon). And remember to ignore the album’s mediocre production to bring the sonic oasis next to you, in every highway’s pit, without caring about the weather, feed or even friends.

About our new cd number II
All drums are set, and bassguitar too! Anna have set cour and now its only one guitarsolo left! Then a groovy mix before sending all to USA!!!
Our new song " Keeping my eyes on you" with sound from the 60:th have a typical drumsound ala 60, made by the producer and drummer Håkan Hansson! Fredrik the bassman plays horn on this song! A bit of exprimental musicsound!!!
The new cd have a heavier sound than the first cd says pre-listener.

ManStrand – ManStrand (Self Released)
Think back to a time when 70s rock and metal ruled (i.e. the 70s) and this fabulous retro-fest will take you there. Fueled by flared jeans, long hair and a love of the pounding riff, ManStrand’s magnificent music fuses Sabbath with Rainbow and Whitesnake with Deep Purple to satisfy any fan of truly classic rock.
Singer songwriter Carl Manstrand has revamped five tracks from his prolific past and thrown them together with seven new compositions. Significantly fellow guitarist Richard Hoerberg is credited with contributing to opening duo Come On and Classica and these two tracks blow the following three out of the water.
It seems Manstrand (the man, not the band) might have found the yin to complement his yang in the shape of Hoerberg. It’s a potential match made in metal heaven and promises much for the future.
On the strength of this debut, ManStrand’s follow-up – already in production – should take the Swedes to the next level. That time can’t come soon enough.

Led by vocalist / guitarist Carl Manstrand, this is as heavy and fast as trad metal can get without being extreme in any way. Opening track “Come On” is catchy, blistering, and pretty damn enjoyable. Carl Manstrand lists his influences as diverse as Sabbath, Zeppelin, Blackmore to Savoy Brown, ZZ Top, The Sweet, Bach, Mozart and Beethoven. “Classica” sounds like a Sabbath / punk pop crossover band playing a doomy classical piece. Yes really.
Other tracks are a little grungier, and “Demon Fighters” nods at Judas Priest too.
Really Really worth a listen.

Manstrand now recording drums on 12 new songs for the new album!
The cd have sounds like desperat hardrock and Along the watchtower Hendrix style and balad ala Scorpions etc!!!

One of the new song in the cd with Bryan is "Life" now adopted to "Lies". Its a song made in the late 80, sounds very much Deep Purple. Almost every song is made 80, only 3 or 4 are new songs!
